We strive to give you the best boutique massage experience possible. This FAQ is intended to provide you with answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the services that we provide. For more details about our policies and procedures, please review our Terms of Service. . We know you will have a pleasant experience with us as we strive to exceed your expectations!

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

To permit ample time to get checked in and prepare for your treatment, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. As a courtesy to other members and guests, we must start and end treatments at their scheduled times; accordingly, we will not be able to extend the time of your treatment if you arrive late. 

HOW DO I BOOK A TREATMENT?

Booking a treatment is easy. You can schedule an appointment online, at www.thenowmassage.com, through The NOW app, or by contacting the boutique directly by phone or email. We also welcome walk-ins but due to the high demand for our services, we recommend scheduling an appointment in advance.

HOW DO I CANCEL A TREATMENT THAT I’VE SCHEDULED?

Cancelling a booked treatment can be accomplished by logging into your account on our website, through The NOW app, or by contacting the boutique . If you book a treatment and need to cancel, please be aware of our late cancel policy. Under the late cancel policy, if you cancel a scheduled treatment within 12 hours from the scheduled start time, we will charge you for half (50%) of the treatment’s value.

WHAT IF I FAIL TO SHOW FOR A SCHEDULED TREATMENT OR ARRIVE LATE?

If you book a treatment and fail to show up for it, then you will be charged the full value (100%) of the treatment. If you book a treatment and show up late, we will start the treatment but end at the originally scheduled  time. If you show up more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled treatment, we will charge the full value (100%) of the treatment. To maximize your enjoyment and benefit of the treatment, it’s in your interest to arrive on time (or early) for all scheduled treatments.

WHAT TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

The NOW encourages making massages part of your monthly ritual and offers membership options with savings on all services. All memberships are month to month and includes a 50 or 80 minute massage once or twice a month. Please visit our Membership page on our website to learn about additional membership perks included in our packages.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

You can cancel your Membership Agreement at any time by providing your boutique  with 30-days written notice. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO USE TREATMENT CREDITS?

If you purchase treatment credits under a membership, you may redeem those treatment credits for so long as your Membership Agreement remains active and in good standing. Unused treatment credits will continue to accrue (i.e., roll-over month-to-month) until you cancel your membership or the Membership Agreement expires for some other reason. Once you cancel your membership or your Membership Agreement expires, you will have 6 months from the date of cancellation to use any unused massage credits before they expire. No refunds will be issued for unused credits.

CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?

Yes, we do allow for membership freezes, subject to certain limitations. Please review our Terms of Service for more details about our freeze policies.

DOES THE NOW™ ACCEPT PAYMENT IN CASH?

No, not at this time. Valid forms of payment include any major credit card (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express) linked to a cardholder’s bank account in the United States or Canada.

DO YOU ACCEPT GIFT CARDS?

Yes, we accept gift cards for The NOW™ services. Gift card terms and conditions do apply. For more details on our gift card program, please refer to our Terms of Service.

DO YOU PERMIT MINORS TO USE SERVICES?

Yes, unless the state, province or territory prohibit it by law, The NOW makes services available to minors between the ages of 13 and 17. Minor use of services requires the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, and additional restrictions may apply. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.

DO I HAVE “RIGHTS” AS THE RECIPIENT OF TREATMENT?

Yes, absolutely. Our goal is to provide you and others at the boutique studio (including other members, guests and staff) with a safe and relaxing environment. If at any time during your massage or bodywork treatment you feel uncomfortable or believe your therapist’s words or actions to be inappropriate, you have the right to request an immediate stop to the activity you find objectionable, to end the treatment, or to request a modification of the treatment regardless of any consent that you may have previously provided. Our employees and therapists will treat you respectfully, and you will be expected to treat all The Now™ staff and other members and guests with a similar respect.

ARE SERVICES AND PRICING SUBJECT TO CHANGE?

Yes, although we make every effort to keep our website and menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

WHAT IF I’M NOT FEELING WELL?

If you are feeling sick or unwell prior to the start of your scheduled treatment, we encourage you to stay home. The NOW boutique studio is an open-space concept and keeping guests and other members safe is everyone’s responsibility. If you begin to feel sick during your treatment, please let your massage therapist know immediately.

WHAT IS THE NOW’S POLICY RELATED TO CELL PHONE USE AT THE STUDIO?

We aim to create a safe, relaxing, harmonious environment at our The NOW™ boutiques . For many of our members and guests, the tranquility within our space is one of the major reasons why they come. Cell phones can be extremely distracting and take away from the relaxation created by treatments. Although we do allow cell phones at the boutique , we require that phones be turned off or switched to silent upon check-in.

CAN I RETURN PURCHASED ITEMS?

Yes, if you’ve purchased items in a boutique, we accept returns in original condition (unused, undamaged and unopened in the original packaging) within seven days from the date of purchase. All items purchased in a boutique  are only eligible for return or exchange in the same location it was purchased. Because jewelry is made-to-order, jewelry is eligible for exchange only. If you’ve purchased items online – through The NOW™ website – we accept returns in original conditions (unused, undamaged and unopened in original packaging) provided you first obtain a return authorization number, which you can obtain by emailing shop@thenowmassage.com. The return authorization number must be written clearly on the outside of the box. Return and exchange shipping costs are customers responsibility and the original shipping charge is nonrefundable.
